The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world where women do not live in poverty. We strive for a world where all women are financially independent, are treated with dignity and respect and are directly impacting their lives and those of their families. We aspire to a world that fully harnesses the power of women and recognises their role in economic sustainability.
Our Purpose

Our purpose is to offer long-lasting solutions that enable Western Australian women to break the cycle of poverty. Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures.
We are about more than just a new outfit. In addition to professional attire, our programs give confidence that can be carried forever, and knowledge that allow our clients to actively define their own lives, the directions they take, and what success means to them.
We proudly support cis and trans women, and non-binary people comfortable in women’s spaces.

Referral Agencies
Aside from self-referrals, our clients are typically referred to Dress for Success Western Australia by a job agency, a charitable institution or community organisation, a government agency, Adult Migrant English Service (AMES) or other groups prepared to act formally as a referral agency for the client.
Dress for Success Western Australia recognises the work that referral agencies do in assisting women to gain control of their lives. We see ourselves as a complement to that work, providing quality appropriate clothing, assisting with presentation and helping women rebuild their self efficacy and confidence through our career workshop program.
Having a good quality outfit to attend a job interview, a court appearance, or a myriad of other important life events can make a huge difference to a woman’s success. We value the work that agencies provide and aim to work with them in a collaborative manner.
